India has opened up its vaccination program for folks aged between 18 and 45 from May 1 (although vaccines aren’t readily available across the country). To help more people find the nearest vaccination center, the government has partnered with WhatsApp and created a simple tool for the job. Last year, the company had launched a WhatsApp bot along with MyGov — a digital portal to get information about government services — to spread more details about the coronavirus pandemic.
